hmmm since the last time we parted....

well alot has happened! i spent a month with 4 amazing girls in Africa, started college.... well maybe not so much has happened then. School is pretty ehhhhhh.... the most interseting classes i have is US History 1301 and Engish 1301. This is the intro to  my first essay we wrote, it's a personal essay so we could choose a person, place or event to write about....

The train came to a screeching stop. Mechanically I pulled down my black and white plaid suitcase from the overhead luggage rack, slung my black, pink, and white flowered backpack over my shoulders and followed the line of fellow passengers out into the train station. Surrounded by frantically moving people I located the exit gates. Swiping my ticket I briskly ascended the stairs that lead to my destination while dragging my poor suitcase behind. After each conquered step the view of the city could be seen, a smile and a sense of accomplishment appeared on my face. This is my town!

I'd say i'm proud of it! lol I've been practicing my British accent for our Christmas musical coming up, The Gospel According to Scrooge. It's pretty hilarious i must say! We get to dress like we're from the 1800s! i have a huge petticoat and an eight-layered shirt, and a hat to match (that i made myself)! :) My friend Liz is getting married this saturday! How crazy! Her bridal shower was today, it seems like everyone is getting married! One this weekend and 3 next year, i'm sure some more will pop up in the next year!
