Redesigned Toms

 So this dear thing called Pinterest has inspired me to do more DIY projects. So my first project is redesigned or upholstered Toms. I bought them about 2 years ago and they are covered in a knitted design, so naturally they'll start to unravel and get holes in them. Holes are in no way appealing so covering them was a must.

This is the finished project. And unfortunately I don't have progress pictures but all I did was get some fabric glue and fabric and glue it on. I also folded the edges in to keep it from fraying. I had to secure the glued fabric with pins until it dried and I added buttons for a bit of flare. I also matched the direction of the knitted stripes with my black and white striped fabric to give it that authentic Toms feel.
